eap: I wish I had a friendship with someone like these two gentlemen have with each other. I think it’s rare for people to maintain such strong friendships as the years go on. I could probably count on one hand the number of people I know that have a relationship like that. I’ve never had a best friend in my life but that’s not to say I don’t have friends that are closer than others. Maybe because I’m an introvert and have trouble truly trusting people that I don’t allow myself to fully open up and be vulnerable around. I’ve got different types of friends from high school to my filmmaker/college friends and then my christian/religious friends. Each of the people in these groups have seen a certain side of me but I don’t have someone I feel like I could just truly be myself and allow to see all the sides.  I hope to one day develop a friendship with someone like Stephen Fry & Hugh Laurie have with each other.
